Divine Feminine Energy

Let me start this post with a bit of transparency. I DEFINITELY didn’t feel like taking these pictures. On the day that I took them, I was on my 21st day of fasting and this MESSAGE WOULD NOT GET OUTTA MY HEAD. I vowed to not only be consistent in 2022 but to also be obedient to the word.
This whole outfit cost $42, add on some cheap jewelry and we might be at $62 but that’s pushing it. I did my own makeup, popped on these lashes that cost $1.59. To top it off, I’m sure I had gotten my hair done one day that week but it definitely was not the day we took this shot.
My point is this….In a world that is doing the ABSOLUTE MOST, where nearly nothing is sacred anymore, women should never forget the power that we possess in our natural beauty and divine feminine energy alone. It doesn’t take much! It doesn’t come wrapped up in how much we spend on clothes or shoes or bags or new body parts. There's nothing wrong with those things but the real beauty lies within and to reach it, you must tap in!

Contrary to what anybody believes, divine feminine energy can’t be bought or sold. It’s the work of the master’s hands and what you do with it should be in your master plan. I believe that in the last decade we’ve gotten a distorted view of beauty. We can blame it on social media or TV or this obsession with celebrity lifestyles. But…honestly I think many of us have forgotten who we are. Maybe we forgot that we are spiritual beings simply having a human experience and that experience should reflect who we are at our core. Question is…Do you know WHO YOU ARE?
You’d be surprised at how many people can’t answer that question. They think they’re defined by their jobs or status or class but if you dig a little deeper, you’ll find that those things are just a byproduct of who you "really" are.
I see so many women whose core has been buried by bad breaks, bad relationships, being misunderstood, anger, hatred, jealousy, heartbreak and everything in between. You might not want to hear this sis but it tampers with your beauty. At some point, I’ve had my share of issues too. But as a woman, we must remember that we are nurturers, creators, lovers, life givers & healers. I had to dig for some of that to get in front of this camera but the most important part is, I SHOWED UP. And…my job is to keep showing up. Happy, healthy, smiling, laughing, healed and whole!
We don’t ALWAYS have to be seen or heard but we should be FELT in any room we enter. I realize that in this male dominated, patriarchal society, sometimes it’s hard to soften up. After dealing with fickle people, fake friends, crazy family, men who don’t have the capacity to love you properly and all of the worlds BS, life can harden you. It may even anger you but I urge you to woo-sah. Let it go. Let him go. Let that go. Let them go and watch how much you GLOW.
I’ll never have a 2” waist or wide spread hips but I'm alright with me. My body came equipped with birthrights. The kind of rights that deemed me fearfully and wonderfully made!! (Psalms 139:14) 100% WOMAN. A portal for life, giving birth to children & dreams. So regardless of whatever season of life this is for you sis, show up as you are but don’t forget who God created you to be. I never lose sight of the fact that my daughters are ALWAYS watching me…
